Privacy Policy

Effective: 2026-11-02

Red Pop (redpop.redballflow.com, the "Service") is operated by RedBall Tech (紅球通科技有限公司, Taiwan business ID 24558239). This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, how long we keep it, and what you can do about your data.

1. Data we receive when you sign in with Google

When an organizer signs in with Google, we receive only:

  • Email address
  • Name (the display name on your Google account)
  • Google account identifier (to recognise returning users)

We use this data only to create and identify your organizer account, show who is signed in, and contact you when necessary. We do not access your Gmail, Google Drive, contacts, calendar or any other Google data, and we do not use Google user data for advertising, sell it, or transfer it to third parties.

Red Pop's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

2. Other data we collect

  • Event details created by organizers: name, time, venue, speaker list, keywords, and uploaded press releases and assets.
  • Audio and text from the event: once the organizer starts live captions, microphone audio is transcribed and translated in real time. We also store the organizer's recording and AI-generated highlights, chapters and summaries.
  • Attendee email (and optional name and caption language), collected only when attendees enter it themselves.
  • Press check-in details: name, outlet, email and phone entered by journalists.
  • Usage records: live-caption minutes and asset downloads, used for plan limits and embargo control.

3. How we use data

  • To provide live captions, translation, AI notes, recap pages and session summaries.
  • To send the recap emails and private links attendees ask for.
  • To let organizers manage events and see check-ins and attendees who left an email.
  • To track plan usage, keep the Service secure, and fix problems.

4. Who can see it

  • Transcripts, highlights and summaries: the organizer, and attendees with a private link. Events the organizer marks as demos are public.
  • Recordings: the organizer only. Attendees cannot play them.
  • Attendee emails and check-in details: only the organizer of that event.

5. Retention

  • Recordings are deleted automatically after 90 days.
  • Transcripts, summaries and event data are kept until the organizer deletes the event or account.
  • Attendee emails are kept until the attendee unsubscribes or the organizer deletes the event. We stop emailing as soon as someone unsubscribes.

6. Service providers

We share data with the following providers only as needed to run the Service, and they may use it only on our instructions:

  • Supabase: database, authentication and real-time delivery (Seoul, South Korea)
  • Google Cloud / Firebase: hosting and recording storage
  • OpenAI: real-time speech-to-text and translation
  • Deepgram: post-event speaker identification
  • Anthropic: session summaries
  • Resend: email delivery

7. Cookies and browser storage

We use only what the Service needs to work: sign-in state, interface language (redpop_lang), the attendee's caption language, and the asset-access token after press check-in. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

8. Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, or ask us to stop using it. Attendees can stop recap emails with the unsubscribe link in every email. For anything else, email jeff@redball.com.tw and we will reply within 30 days.

9. Security

All traffic is encrypted with HTTPS. Dashboards and APIs require sign-in and permission checks. Recordings are kept in private storage and can be played only by the signed-in organizer after a permission check.

10. Changes and contact

If we make material changes, we will update the effective date on this page and notify organizers where appropriate.
